Chicken Salad Sandwich

Here is the best Chicken Salad recipe ever.
What you need is the following:
3 cups cooked chicken
2 stalks of celery, diced
1 apple, chopped
1/3 cup of dried cherries
1/4 cup of chopped pecans
1/3 cup of mayo
1 tbs. buttermilk
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Chill in the fridge for half hour.  Serve on a croissant or in a multi-grain sandwich pocket as a healthier option.
I often substitute grapes (cut in half) for the apples and use a rotisserie chicken for ease.
Enjoy!  Perfect for lunches or to take on a picnic or day outing.

  2. Anna, I made this today. I didn't have pecans on hand so I used walnuts, so delicious!! Even the kids likes it!! Thanks for posting!
